Every new account gets $0.50 of trial credit valid for 7 days. This allows you to test the heretic LLM endpoint with real token usage before committing to a larger crypto purchase. The trial is one per person and does not roll over.
Refund & Expiration Policy
Prepaid credit does not expire, so you never lose funds from inactivity. If you make a mistake like a double charge, you can request a fix through the Support page. However, credit is generally not refunded once used for token consumption. Errors and refusals do not consume your balance.

Does the heretic LLM API charge for failed requests?
No. Errors and refusals are free, meaning you only pay for tokens that are successfully processed. This ensures your prepaid balance is only spent on actual output.
How do I top up my account?
You can top up with USDT on the TRC20 network or USDC on the Base network. Any whole amount from $20 to $500 is accepted, and you receive bonus credit for larger deposits.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
No. We operate on a strict prepaid basis. There are no monthly fees, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs. You pay only for the input and output tokens you consume.
What happens to my balance after 7 days?
Your trial credit expires after 7 days, but your prepaid balance never expires. You can keep your account active indefinitely without any recurring charges or annual renewals.
